Hack Reactor

Job Description

Hack Reactor, founded in 2012 in New York and later acquired by Galvanize, is a well-established coding bootcamp with over 14,000 graduates working in technology roles. This partnership combines the expertise of two leading tech training providers, offering students a proven pathway into software engineering careers. The school reports a job placement rate of 85%, reflecting its emphasis on developing job-ready skills and preparing students for careers.

All Hack Reactor programs are now delivered online, creating an immersive and collaborative learning environment accessible to students worldwide. The curriculum focuses on full-stack software engineering, covering languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, React, Node.js, and databases, while integrating modern development tools and practices. Students can choose between intensive 16-week full-time or 30-week part-time formats, both of which emphasize hands-on coding, pair programming, and real-world project work.

Career services are an integral part of the experience, including 1:1 coaching, mock interviews, resume and LinkedIn optimization, and job search strategies. Starting in June 2023, Hack Reactor incorporated GitHub Copilot into the curriculum to familiarize students with AI-assisted coding. Flexible financing options are available, including scholarships for Black students and deferred tuition through an Income Share Agreement (ISA).
